Gretta the Grouchy Gallbladder..........

............ is now blissfully residing somewhere in a trash can!  History.  Toast.  86'd!  Yeah!

Surgery was scheduled for 12:45 and didn't get started until right around 3-ish.  Went like clockwork.   According to Mike, the recovery room nurse, I must have broke some record for recovery.  1 hour 15 minutes from end of surgery to wheeling me out the door.

According to Dr Nichols I am doing phenominal with my WLS and my surgery went so well for my gall bladder.  Had some adhesions and it was obvious it was going bad in a hurry.

AMEN~~~~~nothing worse that having a bad gallbladder.  I was so fortunate that I had mine done before WLS.  Now take it easy and get well, only good days ahead.

Thanks!  My two guys are here taking care of me.  My feet are up, my water bottle nearby and my pillow and blankie next to me.  Jayden is also rubbing my feet.  How much better can it get?

Good Riddence Gretta !  Glad she's gone.  Sounds like everything went great.  I hope you feel better real soon. 

I got them to move up my endoscopy to Dec 8th.  My GI doctor said he doesn't want to scope me too soon since I just had the last one 3 weeks ago, but he definately didn't want me waiting til the 23rd of Dec either.

Thanks!   Glad to hear your appointment was moved up.  The nurses got a kick out of the fact that I named the bi*ch Gretta!  They also got a kick out of my "Diva Socks"  White faux fur sox with a fake cougar cuff.   Gotta have some fun somewhere!
